D01 Arrive KATHMANDU (D)

Met on arrival by our representative and transferred to hotel. After a short rest proceed to the 2500 years old Swoyambhunath stupa, (World Heritage Site) sometimes also known as the monkey temple .The temple charms with its great dazzling stupa, while at the same time offers a marvellous view of Kathmandu Valley.

Next destination is Patan, (World Heritage Site) the oldest and second largest of the three cities in Kathmandu valley. Patan likes to recall its old name LALITPUR (city of beauty). Above all, it remains a proud city of artisans. Patan produces nearly all Nepal’s fine metal work. En route, stop at a Tibetan carpet factory where you can see the spinning, dyeing and weaving of Tibetan carpets.


Drive 5-6 hrs to Pokhara, the second largest and the most beautiful city in Nepal. Upon arrival,check into your hotel. Evening enjoy boating at Fewa Lake, when you may get

a chance to see the beautiful Himalayan panorama, specially(Fishtail) Machhapuchare, Annapurna,Dhaulagiri Himal. Walk back/drive to hotel with lots of shopping on lake side.


Morning tour of Pokhara, visiting various parts of the lakeside village, and enjoy beautiful panoramas of Himalayan range, Annapurna Himal, majestic Machhapuchhare and other surrounding peaks. Noon visit Davis fall & Tibetan refugee camp where barter trading is still being practiced. Also visit old market, Vindhebasini Temple as well as Seti George.


Drive back to Kathmandu, and visit on of the most important sites, the Great Stupa of Boudhanath (World Heritage Site), a vast dome-shaped monument representing the Mind of the Buddha, is the primary pilgrimage destination for Tantric Buddhists of the Himalayas and a major draw for Tibetan Buddhists from all over the planet. The history of the stupa from its origins in the fifth century to the present day is also presented here for the first time. (This tour is possible if you take Flight Pokhara to Kathmandu at extra cost.)

Then proceed to visit Nagarkot, 2300 m above sea level. From this lovely scenic spot, you may catch view of Himalayan range at Sunset & even Mount Everest on a clear day .


Wake up early to have a good view of breathtaking Nagarkot, provides an excellent scenery of the mountain ranges Langtang, Amadablam, Dorje Lhakpa, Chobha bhamre, Manaslu etc a lovely scenic spot, at Sunrise. You may wish to have a short walk around village.

Then drive 1.5 hrs to Kathmandu, visit Kathmandu Durbar square in the heart of old city in Basantapur. UNESCO enlisted the Durbar Square area as a World Heritage Site in 1979. Surrounded by concrete buildings, the complex is an oasis in a fast developing chaotic modern city. Once the residence of Nepal's Royal family, all coronation ceremonies were held here. The palace is an amalgamation of eastern and western architecture with additions by Rana and Shah Rulers over the centuries. Unbelievable 50 Temples lie within the vicinity including the temple of the titular deity, Taleju Bhawani. The Durbar is divided into two courtyards, the outer Kasthamandap, Kumari Ghar (Living Goddess) and Shiva-Parvati Temple, and the inner section consisting of Hanuman Dhoka and the main palace. Some floors have been converted to museums dedicated to three generations of Shah Kings. Most parts of the palace premises are open to tourists throughout the week.
